Why have one hour when you can have five? Statistics show that 25,000 people take trial flights every year via experience companies, but very few actually go on to learn to fly. An hour is good, but it’s not enough. After the exhilaration and excitement of the initial trial flight, we bet most people intend to do more, but then settle back into normal life and time dulls those emotions. Well, don’t let that happen to you!
This five-hour experience is all about getting you hooked. It will get you into the routine of going to the flying club, learning from the textbooks and having lengthy chats with your instructor in pre- and post-flight briefings. You’ll take off and possibly land the aircraft in this time. Slow flight, steep turns, stalling, straight and level flight – you’ll cover it all in the five hours.
The five hours won’t happen all in one day. We suggest taking it as five separate hours as there is a lot to take in. Try to fly at least once a week in this initial five hours so that what you learn stays fresh in your mind and you can take the skills learnt in lesson one into lesson two etc.
We think if you go for this option you’ll be well on your way to becoming a pilot!
Go on – life’s too short not to live your dream!
