These 45 hours of lessons is the full course for the PPL(H). The course is demanding covering navigation, solo flying, circuit flying, landing, take-off, hovering and much more. On the back of the practical sessions you will also take a number of theory (ground) examinations consisting of the following:

Before applying for your PPL(H) you will be required to under go an aviation medical (Class 2 for private or Class 1 if you intend to go on for a commercial licence.) which is conducted by a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) medical practitioner.
